Documentary "Arctic Tale"

I just watched a Documentary last night. It was a National Geographic special movie about our disappearing Ice Fields and the effect on the Wildlife that it sustains.I would encourage everyone to check it out as it effects all of us! In the movie;a live account of a family of Polar Bears and a Walrus family.Even the Arctic Fox that follows the Polar Bears-eats the scraps-of food left behind. The changing and warming temperature has made it next to impossible for ice to form in order for these animals(mammals) to survive. As we watched this "live" take;we watched a baby polar bear die.It was the most moving event I have ever experienced as it was "real" and really happening. It is happening NOW!After the movie and before; it is all real.Even though it was unclear if the cubs mother survived ( I am suspecting-the worst) and,she did not live.I suspect that she also starved to death as her son cub died. The ONLY upside was her daughter cub survived to mate and had her own cubs. They also followed a large male Polar bear and he almost starved as well! This is and was a very disturbing take on "reality" and out of ALL the reality T.V. shows that I've seen;this is the one and only "real" thing to watch! It effects each and everyone of us and I am so very afraid that this man made environmental disaster will not end anytime soon and will continue to get worse, not better. On the lighter side the movie displayed tips on how we as humans can interact and try to make up for mistakes that have taken decades to make.I still do believe that the minute things they described would only put a minute dent in a much larger problem."Life" and Life as we know it is on its way to extinction-just like the "Polar Bears";I truly do believe we are next on the endangered species list! Please post your comments and suggestions and watch the Movie a National Geographic special presentation with Queen Latifah commentary.
